Tradisional or Modern??

None of you are allowed to marry before the age of 30!!!

Yesterday,my mom,Eric,Elsie and me were counting our angpao money..Took quite a long time and after a while,we were done counting..(won't tell u how much I got..I already have to belanja Xiang Ping and Zen because of my big mouth!!)

Anyway..after that my dad came into the room(we were in his room)..and my mom was telling us about one of our cousin who got married overseas before notifying his parents..so she say that we should never do that..or she would disown us..so serious rite?(especially to my brother-reason because THAT cousin is a boy) haha..good thing all my cousins who are girls are all quite well behave!!

And then,my dad suddenly came out with that statement up there..my brother and I were like WHAT!!!!!(Not saying that I'm eager to get married or wanna get married) Just the point that he say something like that is just too much la..I mean marriage comes when the time is right..There are many factors to consider mah..like feelings..kids..careers..get it??I mean u can't actually tell your boyfriend who propose to u when you're 26 that U can only get married after 30..rite?(he would be crushed and so would I)

Then he explain that once people(especially females) get married..they're career can't really go any higher..because they have to care for family and they're husbands..and so he wants US to get our career stabilized first..

Then my mom say that 30 is too late to have kids d..not safe..and my brother say that he din say that he wan kids also..I just kept quiet..smart le..and then my fon rang..and I quickly used it as a excuse to leave the room..end of discussion!!*phew*

But I really dun wanna get married at 30 la..so old d..rather stay single..
